Health, Safety and Training


  Alliance Management promotes a safe and injury free workplace. Team Leaders and Supervisors conduct daily tailgate safety meetings and briefs fellow employees and subcontractors on emergency procedures and site specific plans and instructions. Alliance conducts new employee background checks and motor vehicle checks on all new and existing employees. Alliance employs a drug-free work force. Our employees are subject to pre-hire, reasonable cause, post accident, near miss, return to work and random drug testing. Alliance is a member of DISA, Inc., a third party drug policy administrator to insure that our drug and alcohol policy adheres with national standards as required by many customers.

  Alliance is a member of ISNetworld, a national compliance company, which allows our customers to view and monitor that we are meeting industry and customer required standards in training, certifications and safety. Alliance holds mandatory safety shut down day on the first Monday of each month, which all company personnel are required to attend. Topics including; safe driving, benzene awareness, electrical hazards and lockout/ tagout, confined space, hand awareness and hazard communications. In addition to our in-house safety training, most but not all of our field staff are HAZWOPER, LPS, API Worksafe, First Aid, CPR and H2S certified. Alliance utilizes our Health and Safety plans for various activities and a site specific HASP according to our customer's specifications.
